Drink and Drunk

A friend of mine once told me that the combination of stout beer and gin would make one sweet mix. After having a slight traffic accident a couple of days ago, I thought I might as well give it a shot. I’d have to say it gave a slight numbness to all those pain caused by the injury, but I agree with my friend that it is one sweet drink indeed.

West Coast Park

Yes, I know it isn’t well focused. I guess something is wrong with the camera software on my cellphone. But it isn’t a totally bad picture anyway.

So, this is taken at West Coast Park, Singapore. Sometime in the morning. Just went on a bike ride for exercise, and then just spend some time on the park to relax and enjoy the view.

Even from a few centuries ago, people have been putting values in crafts of gold. This one, believe it or not, is a tobacco holder. Though I can’t imagine people using that on their neck and all.

Art Science Museum

Sometime ago, I visited this museum at Singapore. Entrance fee is S$30, not sure though if the pricing depends on the kind of event the museum is holding. The ambience is the usual Singapore environment that is clean and tidy. Standard rule, photography, but no flash, no tripod.

On the Longboat

Simply said, it’s a picture taken from the longboat. I just realised that it’s not quite so easy to take a picture, with the rocking motion of the boat.

James Bond

The place in which they shoot one of the old James Bond movie. Nice beach, though if you are planning to visit my suggestion is don’t do it during peak season. It’s tough to get a good spot because it is so crowded.

Wat Chalong

There’s a couple of jokes involved with taking this picture. The first one is the fact that to reach this spot, me and my girlfriend have walked over 8km. Just because I thought the distance of a couple of tourism site is reachable from the main road where the public transport go through. Oh well, the point being is, in the end we’re there.

The second point is that I realised that this wordpress theme doesn’t really handle portrait picture very well for its thumbnail and slideshow. With me being the snapper that doesn’t enjoy the digital editing process, that doesn’t make a good combo. Though after fumbling around, it’s just a matter of resizing the whole canvas to make the picture into a landscape format.
